Colorado2004exp Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 3	Thanks for your reply- but I don't know that this is so common....I have never heard this before in any car I have owned (2 other Ford SUV's)- There seems to be a defect somewhere and other Expedition owners haven't replied back that they have this same noise- so I really think something is wrong- probably not dangerous- but not normal sounding. This is a loud "pop" sound. Would be curious to hear from others if they have same thing....
