Default problem with not starting

I have been trying to figure out for a while what was wrong with my expedition for around 6 months when it would roll over but not start and sometimes start great, well when it acted as if it backfired that was the key,,,,,, a sensor , I knew it was either the camshaft sensor or crankshaft sensor, for me it was the crankshaft sensor . Try that
