I just hate the fact that salesmen think that you are the dumbest thing that ever lived. When I was buying my 08 Escape, I was talking prices after about 15 min of not getting him to tell me if he agreed on the price. I told him that this was the last chance he had to tell me the bottom line price on the Escape as I was getting up from the table he said ok ok it is this price. I told him that I was going to go home and talk about it with my wife (I not being married). He turned to me and said why dont I take the truck home and pick up my wife and bring her back? I said no I am going home to talk about it. He truned to me and said is it worth another 100.00 off the price to go and get her and bring her back? I turned to him and said guess what, I told you, you only get one chance to give your rock bottom price, now you lied and now you lost the sale. He looked at me like I just killed his dog. It was great! He called my house 5 times to try to talk about it and try to sell me the Escape. |
