Default engine problems

I purchased my 2009 Ford Escape on 12-29-08. On 2-23-09 on the way home from work the engine started missing, I wasn't sure I was going to make it home. The dealer said the third coil was burnt out and replaced it. I had the car about 2 weeks and the same thing happened, I again returned to the dealer who said it was the same coil. He replaced the coil and the fuel injector thinking that maybe the injector was seeping causing the short. I had the car exactly 7 days and it did it again. This time the dealer replaced the computer. At this point they have had the car more than me. Yesterday I took the car back for a (for lack of a better way to say it) stutter in the gas pedal. It is not affected by speed or shifting. You can be cruising right along and feel the gas pedal stutter almost as if the engine wants to cut out, but doesn't. The dealer changed the shift timing cycles hoping that would fix the issue, however it didn't. We are waiting to put a flight recorder on it. Has anyone else had this sort of stutter? I even test drove another 09 Escape and it didn't seem to have the issue.
