I have a p0401 code and I am losing my mind over this. I replaced the DPFE a few months ago when I first got the code. It came back now. I replaced the VAC control solenoid. The EGR valve moves what I think is properly with vacuum applied. The hoses from EGR tube to DPFE hold steady pressure. I have 5v on the BR/WH wire (VREF). I also have 5v on the BR/GR wire (DPFE)???
I take it that is bad since everything I have read is that I am supposed to be getting 1v +/_ .25v at rest.
Could my PCM be the culprit or should I just throw another DPFE in??

I forgot to mention, '02 Ranger 4.0 SOHC, 4x4 XLT, 65,440 miles.
