Thread: brakes light on, and wont turn off... PLEASE Help!

Post brakes light on, and wont turn off... PLEASE Help!
I was notified by a neighbor last night after parking my car, that my brakes light were on.. So I went out to the car and the car was off, key out, the parking brake was not pulled. I checked the brake pedal to see if it was sticking down or something.. I came up with nothing. I had to go and disconnect the battery. Whether I have the car in park or in drive the brake lights are staying on. Please help..
