That is what the brake switch plunger makes contact with,you should be able to pick one up at your local dealer.There will be a tab under there on the brake pedal where you will install the new one its up where the switch makes contact.It will all make sense when you see the new part (it has a nipple that you pull through a hole on the bracket)
