 Cigarette Lighters Not Working
I own a 2005 Ford Freestar Limited Edition. Recently, our cigarette lighters (or car adapters), where one would plug in their cell phone car adapter or iPod car adapter, stopped working. So when I called the local Ford dealership, they said that they have never heard of anything like this happening. In order for them to diagnose the problem, they would charge me $50, even on top of an oil change, which I think is ridiculous. Does anyone know what's wrong? Why did this happened? Does anyone know how to go about fixing this?
I believe that it could be a fuse issue, but I know nothing about cars or anything automotive. So any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Plus, I don't feel good about going to my local Ford dealership if they know just as much as me about the situation. |
