and as far as adding in the wheelbase to the mix, it's possible they are a version that was never offered here in the States... that was, and remains, a fairly common practice... for example, Ford made a version of the 351 Cleveland motor for Austrailian trucks that had very much beefed up webbing in the block... highly prized here in the States in drag racing and offshore powerboating circles...
