I have a 1994 2 wheel drive with a a 4.5l V6 - 5 speed, its done 340,000 klm (210,000 miles) with the no need for anything more than the usual wear and tear: shocks, front end, one clutch and a load of tyres and breaks.
Its a work truck for my carpentry business, and it pulls a medium sized trailer pretty much all the time. I live in Winnipeg Canada which is a damn hard environment for a vehicle, -40c to +40c. (40 below to 100 above F)
My advice: get it oiled so it doesn't rust, change the oil regularly and don't drive it like its rented. |
