 Intermittant transmission problem/flashing traction control light
On two occasions I've had the following happen:
1. The transmission disengages.
2. The traction control light on the dash flashes.
3. The traction control light goes off.
4. The transmission re-engages and the car jerks back into gear.
As I recall, in both cases I was making a sharp right hand turn. I have a 2008 Limited with approximately 33K miles (I did get the extended warranty). Because its not reproducible I was advised to keep driving it and if it happened during business hours to bring it back to the dealer without turning it off and see if the diagnostic computer recorded anything. I know there's another generic "transmission problem" thread, but I wanted to get specific since that thread contains a myriad of different problems. Overall I'm really pleased with the car. I'd feel better if I had more of an idea with what's going on with this. |
