Does this car have a coil over each plug? If so one way to tell if it is the coil if you don't have the equipment to check is by swapping the coil in question with another one and resetting your trouble codes. If it comes up saying u still have a misfire on #1 then its not the coil, but if it moves to the other cylinder then its your coil.
If you dont have seperate coils, then I wasted your time, sorry.
