yeah, I will admit that I used in on my cars in my younger days when I believed the hype, afterall ptfe is the slipperiest substance known to man and if they used it on the space shuttle it should be great for my cars...........
I think Dupont (the makers of ptfe) came out and said that their product should not be used in gas engines as it did not provide any benefits, or something like that, though Dupont was legally obligated to sell their product to Petrolon (Slick 50). Do a search on Petrolon or slick 50, there is lots of legal info on the internet about this issue.
