Default Problem solved (so far)
Well, the rough-running problem flared up again last week, so I took car to my mechanic Monday morning. He found a bad injector. Replaced it Tuesday, and the engine runs fine now.

Mechanic said it is rare to have an injector with an intermittent problem, which, I guess, is why it didn't occur to him before.
