 99 Expedition Door Locks
I have a 99 expedtion that has always as a door lock quirk. Over the past 2 years it has gotten worse. The car locks no longer unlock when the motor is turned off (but do lock when I start driving). Therefore I must press the unlock button to unlock the doors. In the summer, or anytime the weather is warm, the driver side button does not work. When pressed nothing happens, not even a noise suggesting a attempt to work. I can unlock the doors with the passenger side button or the keychain transmitter. Has anyone had a similar problem or know what might be wrong? |
