well, my '88 went 145,000 before i needed a valve job due to a plugged cat, i went ahead and did a full overhaul, kept it until 203,000. very trouble-free truck. the '93 however wasnt as trouble free. lost 2nd in the trans at 80K, had a vaccum leak in the upper intake at around 105K. various other little issues. has around 122K. the '88 was a 2.3 2wd s/c, the '93 is a 4.0 4x4 s/c. both trucks have 3.73 gearing and 5 speed manual trans. |
