 05 Expedition replaced TXV, rear air a/c stopped working and whistle noise
About a week ago, I started hearing a whistle noise coming from the rear right quarter panel. The following day, the air started blowing cool/slightly warm air. My husband replaced the TXV thermostatic Expansion valve (new from napa) and recharged the air and it worked for about 1 day. Then the whistle started again. Now about a week later, the front ac is cool/warm again and the rear ac has stopped working all together. Please help!
ps When the ac is on, the tube going into the top left of the exspansion valve is cold and the top right, the 2 on the bottom are luke warm. Is that normal?
