sooo..lucky i found and bought another EGR from a junkyard from da same vehicle but wit about 20k miles and replaced it.
now about 5 days later my the EGR broke again

do you guys have any clue what might cause the problem??

ohh and by the way my escape has 130k miles on it
Maybe it isn't your EGR valve. There's normally another valve in the EGR system that reads the difference in pressure across the orfice in the ERG tube. It puts out a voltage depending on what it sees. You'd need a DMM, hand vacuum pump and specs/procedure from a manual to troubleshoot it.

What code are you getting? ERG flow at idle?
