the assembly is removed from the car. i dont have a key, you can buy a new lock cylinder from dearborn for $30 but they sell the cylinder only not the sleeve or bezel that it slides into. i called dearborn, they dont know how to remove it, im not going to buy a new one unless i can get the old one out. estimate for the locksmith is $40 and i end up with a new key for a 50yr old lock assy. there anybody out there who had to replace their lock cylinder? |
