Be careful about wasting your money on extended warranties. You have to have all maintenance documented and receipts to prove that all requirements are met otherwise it will void your warranty regardless!!! I looked into buying an extended warranty because of my transmission messing up and I spoke with someone at Ford (a friend of my cousin) and he told me that the catch is the warranty won't generally cover due to the owner not maintaining the vehicle properly or not being able to prove anything.
