Default 67 fairlane hood scoops.

I like the look of the long hood scoops as fitted on some of the 67 Fairlanes but the price of them (if they can even be found) has made me decide to try and reproduce a pair in fibreglass for my '67 Ranchero.

Not having set to copy does however make this difficult. But, not impossible.

I got the overall length and width measurements from a set for sale on Ebay but require the height and detail measurements. I figure that if I am going to make set I may as well try and make them as correct as possible. Does anyone have a set of these on their car that they can supply further measurements and angles from ?

Another thing is the lights as fitted to the rear of these scoops. I feel I should be able to adapt something but wonder do these lights come on with the headlites? If so wouldn't they be distracting

Any help would be appreciated..................

Oh, and yes, I did see the set for sale on Ebay at the moment eBay but with the exchange rate they work out to cost me about (NZ)$1200 without freight.
