No need to send Crites $$$ (he is a local and we have had issues, as has Crites and FoMoCo, etc.), all the needed FACTORY parts are on Fairlanes/Comets of that era which had 390 engines.
Actually the same applies to any company offering "conversion" kits to mount the big block in a late US Falcon. You never know when the kit people changed the design for their parts in order to fit something not offered by the factory (add-on equipment, etc.) or to cut their production costs.
You may have to contact a few salvage yards to get the factory parts but the pay back is that they fit and you know they were made for the application. |
