Like I said I was able to get the cylinder out with my Mustang key, but I guess I was just lucky. I am, however, going the same route and taking a door lock cylinder and the trunk lock cylinder to get new keys made. Hopefully the ignition cylinder has never been changed and the door lock key will also work there.
