I put a 2.3 in my 93 and I got into trouble on the fuel lines. I left the spring lock retainers on the frame side and when I put the new motor in they were also on the motor side. So I decide to take them off on the motor side and they were stubborn. I had to buy the little plastic line seperators at the parts store, I damaged the hose inside the fuel rail trying to pull it apart, so I had to use my old fuel rail. This happened after I had fished all my electical harnesses back over and under the fuel rail, which was a pain, so I had to disconnect all that, put in the old rail and re-route it again. I'd hook up the fuel lines first.

It seems most of the bolts were 13mm where the trans connects to the motor and I wished I would have had some gear wrenches, I couldn't get a ratchet in between the engine and firewall.
