Default 1961 Falcon body/parts for sale *cheap*

I've finally reached the time where I have to just let go, and part out my poor little Falcon I've lost storage space, and need to see this car go to someone who will appreciate it and not ignore it as I have the last two years.

It's a clean California mostly rust free '61 4 door sedan... The body is entirely stripped as it sits, nothing remaining bolted to it except for the stock rearend and leaf springs. The only rust anywhere on the body is a few pinholes in the passenger front foot well - Solid quarters, solid rockers, no surface rust anywhere. The underside has been freshly undercoated from the leading edge of the floor back to the rear axle kickup(never finished the rear sections). The only body modifcation that will present any challenge is the fact that the driprails have been cut off. They were cut off nearly flush with the roof sheetmetal, but the cuts were made to err on the side of removing too little driprail rather than cut into the roof panel(IE the roof is totally solid). The body is very straight, having never been in any kind of accident.

I have the doors, hood, fenders and trunklid as well, and they are also straight. The hood has a small section of filler on the driver's side leading edge, but minimal. There is some rust at the bottom of the two front doors, but not bad. They are totally disassembled, but I have all the glass, regulators, latches and handles.

Basically, I have the entire car, with the following exceptions:

no engine/trans, but I have most of the accessories, mounts, driveshaft, etc. Originally a 170/2 speed.
No rear window(sold)
no gas tank(sold)
no front seat(sold)
rear bumper is badly dented and rust pitted, not worth saving IMO, but I have it

The glass that I have is all perfect, and the windshield especially is in amazing condition - No pitting, wiper scratches or other imperfections. It is as nice as any piece of NOS glass I've ever seen. The front bumper is very straight with perfect chrome. Grill is very straight, looks great. Gauge cluster has been cleaned up and prepared for installation, very good shape. The radiator is in excellent shape, very straight fins and held pressure well - It has the automatic trans cooler as well. Lights, taillight buckets, all the trim, interior and extrerior door handles and knobs, etc etc, I have basically the entire car.

I have a clean California title with both original black and yellow plates, IIRC expired December 2004(though my recollection is that it was non-OP'd through 2005). Title, plates, door tag, all keys, lock cylinders, documentation and anything else related to the body itself will go with whoever buys the body(no, I will NOT give these up without selling the body, and will not sell the lock cylinders with the doors or trunk lid!) I do not have the original ignition switch.

I want the body of this car to go to someone who will restore it, and not cut it up for parts, or melt it down for it's scrap metal value. Perhaps you have a car with a good motor/trans, good interior and such and have a rusty or badly damaged body? This body would be perfect for that. It is straight and one of the most solid I've seen, it would be a shame to have it vanish forever. I've spent a lot of time cleaning the body up and getting it ready for reassembly(though it will still more cleanup and of course paint). I'd like to get $400 for the body.

I'm willing to sell all the parts individually, but I would certainly sell the body and all parts associated with it. I have lots of extra stuff(3 steering wheels, duplicates of many engine accessories, spare wheels, etc). I have all of the suspension and wheels, etc, so I can make it roll if need be. I would be looking for $750 for the entire lot of parts with the body.

The body of the car itself is located in Pleasanton, California, and the remainder of the parts are at my own house within 10 miles of the car in covered storage. I can deliver the body of the car and most parts within the majority of the bay area for compensation of my gas to trailer it there. I'm not very interested in shipping parts, though I may consider it for smaller items - I'd rather not deal with shipping large, heavy and difficult to pack items(wheels, rearend, etc), and I will not ship glass under any circumstances. It will need to be picked up at my house.

Email for prices on parts, and I'm slightly negotiable on the price for the body, as I need to have it gone as quickly as possible. I'll work on a price list for all the parts individually as I have the time, perhaps in the next couple of days. I will add some pictures of parts and the body in the next couple of days. Thanks for reading my long ad!
