Make sure you put heat sink compound on the back of the tfi module after doing this test or it will most definately fail from heat! Radio hut has a small tube for $2.99
Pulling it off and replacing the heat sink compound every couple years is a good idea and you may as well check the resistance while you have it off. Most parts stores carry a small socket that fits into the openings on the module(super thinwall) Mine has a big knurled chrome handle and you can put different bits into the other side comes in real handy for tight spots. 20 minutes and $3 bux will keep the module happy and working like it should!!

If you have intermittant running problems or a flat spot/buck/dying/cutting out while accelerating.
Do your self a favor and try some dedicated gas
line dryer, Double or even triple dose it, It's cheaper
then throwing parts at a problem that doesn't throw
codes!!
