I have a 2002 Ford Windstar (117,000 mi) that was operating pretty well when all of a sudden it started to run extremely rough when my wife was driving it up a steep hill one day. The check engine light came on and then started blinking. She stopped the car immediately. I have changed the fuel filter; added fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank; replaced the spark plugs and wires. I drove the care about 10 miles but the engine still continues to run rough. I crawled underneath the van while it was running and I could see moisture forming (unburned fuel) at the seam right before the catalytic converter. I went to auto zone and had the OBD connected to the van, and it came up with the code PO302.

Would anyone have any idea what it could be and what my next steps should be to identify and fix the problem?

I would have to say its gonna be the Coil unless you got a bad plug or a plug wire rubbed thew already. Also did you clear codes? is engine light on again?
