Please explain how you came to the conclusion that the CV could have gone "bad" by your pulling out the insturment pod? I'm doing a study on the "logic" people are coming up with.

Considering the simple fact the only thing related to the turn signals in regards to the insturment pod is the indicator light that pretty much eliminates the problem being there.
