I have a 99 eddie bauer expeditionand blew my subwoofer. The only way to remove it is to remove the rear quarter panel. The speaker doesn't come out because it has a bolt that is screwed into the back of the sub through the sealed box that it's in. Sorry to tell you this but I it found out the hard way. Luckily is not to hard to remove once the panel is off. Getting the panel off is a little tricky and took about 30 minutes to figure it out but once you get it off you'll never forget how to put it back together. Think of it as an adventure so strap on the gatorade and get going.......It's not to bad, just takes some finess and patience. If you need anyhelp just email me
