It's nice to see you guys validating your own personal opinions by ganging up on this misinformed gentleman. While I agree that his problems seem to stem from a lack of research into what HE planned to do with the truck, I think that the rest of what you are saying is biased hogwash. The Reason the F150 is the best selling truck every year is because Ford gives away hordes of Fleet vehicles at no profit just so they can continue to claim the "Best Seller" moniker. As a technician for 17 years and a shop owner for most of that, I can assure you that the Ford trucks you speak so fondly of are not what you have fooled yourselves into believing. The reliability is on par with Dodge products and not even in the same league as any GM truck. The technology (including on board diagnostics) is at least 10 years behind the GM trucks and again on par with Dodge. What I am saying is stop listening to advertising and listen to someone who sees them every day.....The best Domestic truck is made by General Motors.....Go ahead and tekll me all of the reasons why you disagree, it won't change reality, I do this for a living and seing is believing......And that's MY 2 CENTS! |
