Well its like you said ask someboady that drives it everyday. I used to be a chevy or GM man my self until my businnes grew and had to get a real work truck, i got a silverado HD 02 and that was the real mistake im not going to complain or say it doesn't work but for a daily driver it ok if your getting a truck just to have one, looks, or just becouse, i realy put it to the test by houling upto 1ton first the payload cappacity is not acuaret as my exhust pipe would be literaly draging and fling sparks every where, as for everything else it needed more maintanence than persay my 04 F-250 Super Duty which i have loaded with 2 tons the first time i did this i could not belive the power behind these beasts as for maintanence ford every 7500k miles chevy 4000k miles fuel is aproximately the same but as for work specialy in construction there is no comparison ford is much more reliable/better as for price GMC wich is the same as the chevy only diffrent lable, well you should know being a thechnician and having access to the mechanical data base were it lists all brands and makes and you will see that GM by far has more defaults than ford but less than dodge. orale pues.
