 1999 E-350 v10 surgin at idle; shutting off at idle also
I have a 1999 E-350, 6.8 v10; just rebuit motor; had fuel injectors cleaned while out of the motor; replaced fuel filter; the motor runs fine when driving, but when idling it frequently surges - jumps up 500 rpm for a coulpe of seconds; idles with a lope; not uncommon for it to simply quit running while sitting at a stop light. Starts up and goes okay; power is steady under throttle and driving. It was doing this surging/loping before the motor was rebuilt. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
