Thumbs up '93 350 diesel

'93 F350 diesel, passenger side battery ground cable shorted through the coolant line for some reason while backing a trailer.. I cut out the damaged spot and inserted a hose and hose clamps. The truck will crank but the transmission will not move it. I lost 4 quarts of trans fluid but replaced it to the proper full mark. You can put it in any gear and it will not move the truck forward or backward. It was running good before this happened but cannot figure this one out. Would appreciate any help.
