I can understand how frustrating it is to not have the desired service your looking for when you go to the dealership. Some problems can be determined faster than others. Although suggesting in making a recall in a problem you`ve encountered doesnt mean that "all" Ford Focus`s have the same issue.
I can understand that your car had a defect, which does happen to any car you buy at any price, but asking everyone to take the time to make a complaint for something they dont have is far fetched.
