 Air Bag Troubles
One day my Air bag light came on. It flashed, it stayed on and it would some times go off. I took it to the dealer and he claimed that the air bag unit was bad. Well $600.00 later and after 2 months it came on again. I disconnected the battery, removed and replaced the connector under the passanger seat and reconnected the battery and the light want out for 3 months until my wife went to drive my Escape. She got in the truck and adjusted the seat and steering wheel and the light came on. I disconnected the battery again and the light went off. I think that this is a problem that Ford should look into. The last thing they want is for the air bag not be deployed in an accident. |
