Check the alternator and batteries i have a 2000 E-350 super duty that last month started really rough and drove rough. i cahnged one battery thinking there was only one ( this is a work van and my first diesel) it was fine for about an hour it would run fine for about 2 miles so i got another battery because this new one drained so i called a local diesel shop and theres actully 2 batteries one is under the hood where it normally is but theres another one farther back by by the block heater core im not to shure about the f series tho.. anyways about 2 weeks later same problem it needed an alternator it could be a bad second battery or alterantor problem but i dont know about the E and F series diffrences. depending on the mileage you could need a tune up. try this fist go get a can of seafoam the fuel could be starting to gel up wich could be it to and dump it in the tank...good luck!
