SamiL Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 4	Overdrive button I have never before driven a Ford van, until I bought a 1991 Econoline E-350 Diesel a couple of days ago. Actually I am going to pick it up tomorrow. I only had a brief test drive with it on small dirt roads. Under the instrument cluster is a button and a pilot light that says "Overdrive off". The lamp has burned out so I was wondering what is the function of this button. Does it shift the overdrive on, off, or both? When am I supposed to use it? I won't have an Owner's Manual for this truck before mid-February, so I need some help to know the usage of this switch. Sami L Finland
