Hey guys
Well I have a 86' 2.3 liter Ford Ranger. I don't know much about it, but it makes a loud clicky noice when it's running. It's extremely slow, and I usually have to mash down the gas to go normal speed. I was told the oil pump is bad but I'm not sure.
Anyways, I was driving today and going about 50 when the engine suddenly turned off on me. I pulled over, and the car would not start. It cranks but it won't turn over. And now, 3 hours later, it still won't. I'm thinking maybe it's the fuel pump?
I have a few questions.
1) Is it fuel injected, or carburated?
2) Is the fuel pump in-tank?
3. What other problems could this be?
