Exclamation How do I disable the factory alarm in my '92 Club Wagon Chateau

I have a 1992 Ford Club Wagon Chateau 5.8(E150)

About 2 years ago the factory alarm would start going off by itself. The horn honks REALLY loud every 1/2 second and the lights flash at the same time. It started out doing it very rarely.
I would just go and insert the key, turn it and that would end it. Sometimes it would happen once and then not happen for months. Other times, it would happen 10 times in 2 days, sometimes doing it within seconds of disabling it. It has gotten progressively worse. After the 4th incident of running outside at 3am in my boxers to disable it before my neighbors killed me, I started pulling the battery cable off the terminal. This got to be a real hassle every time I had to shut the vehicle down and certainly is not a good thing to be doing to the computer. This seems to happen totally random. It doesn't matter what the temp is or in what manner I lock the vehicle, or even if it is locked or not. A few months ago I pulled the fuse for my horn so that now only the lights flash. At this very moment, 4am in the morning, my lights are out there flashing away. I can't stand it anymore. I've searched all over the internet and not found any info on how to disable this dang thing. I bought a Haynes manual and that also mentions nothing what-so-ever about the factory alarm. Could someone PLEASE tell me how to disable this thing so I can have my horn back? I understand that there may be some hesitation to to tell a stranger on the internet how to disable alarms, but I will do WHATEVER it takes to prove that this vehicle is mine and I am not some sort of thief looking for tips. I will take pics/vids of me with my van or even send my VIN/name/address/license plates to one of the admins if necessary. I am at my wits end with this, please help me
