jayne Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 1	Charging problem 97 V6 taurus Hi, I am new to this forum. I have a 97 Taurus V6 DOHC with the small alternator. The problem started while going down the freeway. The speedometer quit, then the radio, then the lights, etc.. Finally it quit. I replaced the battery and it ran for a while then started its problem again. This time i replaced the battery, alternator, and all cables. The car ran fine for a few months. Now the problem has started again. i have talked to several mechanics, none have any ideas. does anyone have any ideas? thanks
