 Wet behind the ears
I have a 88 festiva ( first one )with a 92 motor I was told but it is not fuel injected, The mechanic put a carb.on it. I get 43 MPG. It runs good if it is not raining but as soon as it rains It starts fouling spark plugs.( Fuel Fouled ) I can only drive it approx. 15 miles and I have to pull over to change them out. I have replaced the rotor, cap and put on the best set of plug wires NAPA Auto has, and it has not helped any. The choke is always full open when it bogs down when I change the plugs. What is going on? I would appreciate any help any one can give me. The MPG is excellant and I would like to get it road worthy. Thanks Don |
