Hi Mike,

You might want to check out cleanmpg.com to learn some hypermiling techniques to improve your MPG. Hypermiling techniques can be applied to hybrid and non-hybrid vehicles, but a lot of the site is devoted to hypermiling hybrids. Hypermiling is exceeding the MPG rating on your vehicel. I am getting around 29 with my 2008 Escape Hybrid FWD so far, and that has been all cold weather driving, so I expect it should be improving.
