Those are one old head bolt and one new one, I put them there to show the comparison, I think that's the pic you are talking about.......

and thanks guys.... the instructions said use 'spray tack' for steel gaskets but that looks like some sort of composite,

btw,what do you think of that timing gear it looks like some sort of composite also......

I think I'll coat the gears really good with oil before I put the timing cover back on...

looks like they used a red lube on the cam shaft when they installed it, plus he gave us a bottle of oil additive for the break in period...
