I'm not up to speed on what came with what in what year in the newer vehicles. Some have distributors and some have a system that fires the plugs off a wheel on the crankshaft. Anyway, since you have a distibutor, (which is what I was thinking), you may have a bad rotor or cap. Look at those parts pretty carefully and I'm thinking center contact on the cap. I really don't have a good feel for what's wrong here, but these are a couple of possibilities and they are quick and free to check, and it would be nice to find the easy fix first, if possible. The other thing I'm thinking is timing, but I need to think about that a little bit. |
