shorted one system and not the other. there is supposed to be a module in the trailer connector to prevent that but from the sounds of it you didnt install in. For people who do hard wires without the module i have heard of it as bad as frying the computer. so maybe youre lucky. For a real answer though, a show will probley have to trouble shoot it. and probley replace a couple parts
