napacoerey Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 1	1997 Ford Taurus Wheel Bearing Problem Working on a '97 Ford Taurus and have put in 3 new left front wheel bearings in the last 2 weeks.... Not sure why it keeps hammering them out, but same problem every time. When I take it apart it is very loose. By loose I mean with the car in the air I am able to grab the tire and move it in and out approx. 1/4"-3/8". Just wondering if anyone can tell me if I may be doing something wrong or if I just have been getting bad bearings
