Unhappy Oil pump problems

I have a 1995 Ford thunderbird Lx, about 2 months ago my oil pressure gauge would go to no pressure whenever i made a left turn. It kept doing that getting more frequent as time progressed. Then all of the sudden the gauge was always on the no pressure symbol. I do not know what it could be and am trying to get an idea of what the possabilities are... i thought it might be the oil pump or a sensor..? Any feedback would be appreciated
