Know how you feel, not knowing what exactly is worng with your car is the most frustrating thing in the world. Does your car just surge and quit or does it just cut out on you? The latter keeps happening to me, so now I'm left with a 3200 lb. paperweight and no way to get to work. Would you also happen to know where the Air Idle Control Valve would be located on your block so I can guess where it is on mine?
