Default '89 Ford Probe battery dying?

It has a brand new alternator... A brand spanking new battery in it... I had it rigged so my front radiator fan would cut on as soon as the car was started, so I undid that hoping that maybe I had wired it wrong, but that wasn't it...

Let it sit for a couple days and the battery has barely enough juice to run the app's. I had a sub/amp in the back, and I took those out also thinking that the amp might not be turning off properly...

I've checked anything and everything that might be a problem caused by myself, and I have no clue!!! I need to fix this cause I can't drive the car EVERY day to make sure the battery still has enough juice to start the car...

Anyone experienced the same problem??

I'm also having a little problem with 3rd gear around 2500 rpms, the gauge will shoot up to like 3500 then back down and up again a few times till it settles at 3k...

Thanks in advance !
