firstwindstar02 Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Massachusetts Posts: 417	I got my scanner for 50 bucks. It has live data among a lot of other useful tools. I keep it in my vehicle at all times and has helped me trouble shoot problems with sensors and codes a few times already. Even if he has to pay for new sensors atleast he has an OBDII scanner he can use on that vehicle and any other vehicle he owns. Live data and I/M status are great tools you can use when your driving/parked.
